DTC B1640

DTC B1640  : RF1 antenna not connected or malfunction

NOTE:  If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A .

DTC (Keyless Access Control Unit)

1. Problem verification

   -1. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.

   -2. Touch the door outer handle touch sensor (LOCK) to lock the door.

   -3. Touch the door outer handle touch sensor (UNLOCK) to unlock the door.

   -4. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

   DTC Description	DTC
   B1640 RF1 antenna not connected or malfunction

   Is DTC B1640 indicated?

   YES 

   Replace the body control module .

   NO 

   Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections.
