DTC U1297, U128F (BSI Radar Unit)

DTC U1297  : Left Side BSI Radar Unit Lost Communication With Right Side BSI Radar Unit DTC U128F  : Right Side BSI Radar Unit Lost Communication With Left Side BSI Radar Unit

NOTE: Before you troubleshoot, review the general troubleshooting information .

DTC (BSI)

1. Problem verification

   -1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

   -2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.

   -3. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

   -4. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, then wait for at least 2 seconds.

   -5. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

   DTC Description	DTC
   U1297 Left side BSI radar unit lost communication with right side BSI radar unit
   U128F Right side BSI radar unit lost communication with left side BSI control unit

   Is DTC U1297 or U128F indicated?

   YES 

   Go to the multiplex integrated control system general troubleshooting . If the symptom is still present, replace the appropriate BSI radar unit .

   NO 

   Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Refer to intermittent failures troubleshooting .
