DTC B18B8  : Left Side BSI Radar Unit Azimuth Off Alignment DTC B1E68  : Right Side BSI Radar Unit Azimuth Off Alignment

NOTE: Before you troubleshoot, review the general troubleshooting information .

DTC (BSI)

1. Vehicle condition check:

   Check the vehicle condition.

   NOTE:  The BSI system cannot work properly in the following vehicle conditions:

   • Make sure the vehicle does not have aftermarket suspension.
   • Make sure all the tires are the correct size.
   • Set the tire pressures to the specifications shown on the doorjamb label.

   Is it OK?

   YES 

   Go to step 2.

   NO 

   Explain to the customer that the system sometimes cannot detect under certain vehicle conditions.

2. BSI radar unit installation check

   -1. Check the installation of the appropriate BSI radar unit .

   Is it OK?

   YES 

   Go to the BSI radar unit mounting area check .

   NO 

   Install the BSI radar unit assembly properly. If damaged, replace the appropriate BSI radar unit assembly .
