DTC U0418-9A (Millimeter Wave Radar)
DTC U0418-9A : Temporary stop of Integrated Driver Support System (Not Start-Up Electric Brake Booster Control Unit)
NOTE:
- Before you troubleshoot, review the general troubleshooting information .
- These DTCs are recorded when the electric brake booster cannot temporarily receives a brake request from the integrated driver support system due to a drop in the 12 volt battery voltage supplied to the electric brake booster.
- If this DTC is recorded, some of the integrated driver support system functions are temporarily canceled but it is not a failure.
- When the electric brake booster returns to normal, the temporarily cancelled integrated driver support system functions are re-activated.
- The functions of the integrated driver support system that will be temporarily canceled when this DTC is recorded can be confirmed with the DTC troubleshooting index .

DTC (IDAS)
- DTC check
-1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, then wait for at least 6 seconds.
-2. Check for DTCs with the HDS.
DTC Description DTC U0418-9A Temporary stop of Integrated Driver Support System (Not Start-Up Electric Brake Booster Control Unit) Is there any DTC(s) other than U0418-9A?
YES
Perform a troubleshooting for the recorded DTC.
NO
Clear the DTC with the HDS and explain to the customer that it is not a failure.
