DTC B2A60-97  : Dust or Dirt On The Camera

NOTE: 

• Before you troubleshoot, review the general troubleshooting information .
• The functions of the integrated driver support system that will be temporarily canceled when this DTC is recorded can be confirmed with the DTC troubleshooting index .

DTC (IDAS)

1. Multipurpose camera unit visual check

   -1. Check for dust or dirt at the multipurpose camera lens, and crack, dust, or interference at the windshield surface.

   Are the multipurpose camera lens and the windshield surface OK?

   YES 

   Go to step 2.

   NO 

   Clean the multipurpose camera lens, or both sides of the windshield surface. If necessary, replace or repair the windshield.

2. Problem verification

   -1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

   -2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.

   -3. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

   -4. Test-drive the vehicle at 3 mph (5 km/h) or more.

   -5. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

   Is DTC B2A60-97 indicated?

   YES 

   The failure is duplicated. Check for loose terminals and poor connections in the multipurpose camera unit 12P connector. Check for any authorized service information related to the DTCs or symptoms you are troubleshooting. If they are OK, replace the multipurpose camera unit .

   NO 

   Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Refer to intermittent failures troubleshooting .
