Driving Position Memory Clear: Procedure

Clear the driving position memory after doing any of the following actions:

• Power seat motor test or replacement.
• Substituting a known-good power seat control unit.

NOTE:  When the driving position is cleared from the power seat control unit, the driving positions for both Position 1 and 2 are also cleared.

1. Driving Position Memory - Clear

   1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

   2. Press and hold the SET button of the driving position memory switch.

   3. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

   4. Release the SET button of the driving position memory switch.

   5. Repeat steps 1-4 three more times.

   NOTE:

   • Once the memory is successfully cleared, the driving position memory switch indicator 1 and 2 turn on for 3 seconds.
   • If the indicators do not turn on, go back to step 1 and repeat the procedure.
