Removal and Installation

- Strong impact (i.e., dropping the 12 volt battery, collision damage) may cause electrolyte leaks, internal short circuit and heat increase resulting in fire. Avoid impact to the 12 volt battery.
- Organic electrolyte is poisonous. If ingested, get medical attention immediately.
- 12 volt battery damage may cause flammable gas or electrolyte leaks and may result in fire. Do not damage the 12 volt battery and keep sparks, flame and cigarettes away.
- Do the installation operation after reconnecting the 12 volt battery terminal .

- 12 Volt Battery Terminals - Disconnect
NOTE: Do the installation operation after reconnecting the 12 volt battery terminal.
- 12 Volt Battery Setting Plate - Remove
NOTE: Do not deform the 12 volt battery setting plate by over-tightening the nuts.
- 12 Volt Battery Cover - Remove
- 12 Volt Battery - Remove
- 12 Volt Battery Box - Remove
- All Removed Parts - Install
1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
