DTC U0302 (A/T)

DTC U0302  : Software Incompatibility With Transmission Control Module

NOTE: 

• Before you troubleshoot, review the General Troubleshooting Information .
• This DTC is indicated when the TCM update procedure is not completed.
• Do not turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode while updating the TCM. If you do, the TCM can be damaged.

DTC (A/T)

1. Problem verification (update)

   -1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

   -2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.

   -3. Update the TCM .

   -4. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

   -5. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, and wait for several seconds.

   -6. Check for Pending or Confirmed DTCs with the HDS.

   Is DTC U0302 indicated?

   YES 

   The failure is duplicated. Replace the TCM .

   NO 

   Update is complete.
