DTC P099B, P099C (A/T)

DTC P099B  : Shift Solenoid Valve G Circuit Low DTC P099C  : Shift Solenoid Valve G Circuit High

NOTE:  Before you troubleshoot, review the General Troubleshooting Information .

DTC (A/T)

1. Problem verification

   -1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

   -2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.

   -3. Test-drive under these conditions:

   DTC	Test Condition
   P099B	Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
   P099C	Start the engine.

   -4. Check for Pending or Confirmed DTCs with the HDS.

   DTC Description	Confirmed DTC	Pending DTC	Freeze Frame
   P099B Shift Solenoid Valve G Circuit Low
   P099C Shift Solenoid Valve G Circuit High

   Is DTC P099B or P099C indicated?

   YES 

   The failure is duplicated. Check for any authorized service information related to the DTCs or symptoms you are troubleshooting, or substitute a known-good TCM , then recheck. If this DTC goes away and the TCM was substituted, replace the original TCM .

   NO 

   Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for poor connections and loose terminals between shift solenoid valve G and the TCM. If the freeze data/on-board snapshot of this DTC is recorded, try to reproduce the failure under the same conditions with the freeze data/on-board snapshot.
