DTC P0976 : Shift Solenoid Valve B Circuit Low DTC P0977 : Shift Solenoid Valve B Circuit High

DTC (A/T)
- Problem verification
-1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
-2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
-3. Test-drive under these conditions:
DTC Test Condition P0976 - Start the engine.
- While pressing the brake pedal, shift the transmission to R position/mode.
P0977 - Start the engine.
- While pressing the brake pedal, shift the transmission to D position/mode.
-4. Check for Pending or Confirmed DTCs with the HDS.
DTC Description Confirmed DTC Pending DTC Freeze Frame P0976 Shift Solenoid Valve B Circuit Low P0977 Shift Solenoid Valve B Circuit High Is DTC P0976 or P0977 indicated?
YES
The failure is duplicated. Check for any authorized service information related to the DTCs or symptoms you are troubleshooting, or substitute a known-good TCM , then recheck. If this DTC goes away and the TCM was substituted, replace the original TCM .
NO
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for poor connections and loose terminals between shift solenoid valve B and the TCM. If the freeze data/on-board snapshot of this DTC is recorded, try to reproduce the failure under the same conditions with the freeze data/on-board snapshot.
