DTC P0876, P0877, P0878 (A/T)

DTC P0876  : Transmission Fluid Pressure Sensor D Out of Range DTC P0877  : Transmission Fluid Pressure Sensor D Circuit Low DTC P0878  : Transmission Fluid Pressure Sensor D Circuit High

NOTE:  Before you troubleshoot, review the General Troubleshooting Information .

DTC (A/T)

1. Problem verification

   -1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

   -2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.

   -3. Test-drive under these conditions:

   DTC	Test Condition
   P0876	Start the engine. While pressing the brake pedal, wait for several seconds in each of P position/mode and other than P position/mode.
   P0877 P0878	Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

   -4. Check for Pending or Confirmed DTCs with the HDS.

   Is DTC P0876, P0877, or P0878 indicated?

   YES 

   The failure is duplicated. Check for any authorized service information related to the DTCs or symptoms you are troubleshooting, or substitute a known-good TCM , then recheck. If this DTC goes away and the TCM was substituted, replace the original TCM .

   NO 

   Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for poor connections and loose terminals between transmission fluid pressure sensor D and the TCM. If the freeze data/on-board snapshot of this DTC is recorded, try to reproduce the failure under the same conditions with the freeze data/on-board snapshot.
