DTC (A/T)
- Problem verification
-1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
-2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
-3. Test-drive under these conditions:
DTC Test Condition P0846 - Start the engine.
- While pressing the brake pedal, wait for several seconds in each of P position/mode and other than P position/mode.
P0847P0848 - Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
- Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
-4. Check for Pending or Confirmed DTCs with the HDS.
DTC Description Confirmed DTC Pending DTC Freeze Frame P0846 Transmission Fluid Pressure Sensor B Out of Range P0847 Transmission Fluid Pressure Sensor B Circuit Low P0848 Transmission Fluid Pressure Sensor B Circuit High Is DTC P0846, P0847, or P0848 indicated?
YES
The failure is duplicated. Check for any authorized service information related to the DTCs or symptoms you are troubleshooting, or substitute a known-good TCM , then recheck. If this DTC goes away and the TCM was substituted, replace the original TCM .
NO
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for poor connections and loose terminals between transmission fluid pressure sensor B and the TCM. If the freeze data/on-board snapshot of this DTC is recorded, try to reproduce the failure under the same conditions with the freeze data/on-board snapshot.
