How to Clear DTCs

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 7 other vehicles, including the 2020 Acura RLX, 2019 Acura RLX, 2018 Acura RLX, 2017 Acura RLX, and 2016 Acura RLX. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

1. With the vehicle in OFF (LOCK) mode, connect the HDS to the data link connector (DLC) under the driver's side of the dashboard.

2. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

3. Make sure the HDS communicates with the vehicle. If it does not, go to the DLC circuit troubleshooting

4. Clear the DTC (s) by following the screen prompts on the HDS.

5. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
