Roof Opening Panel Shield Operating Cable and Guide: Removal

Remove the roof opening panel shield (center) motor. REFER to: Roof Opening Panel Motor - Vehicles With: Panoramic Roof Opening Panel.

Remove the roof opening panel shield. REFER to: Roof Opening Panel Shield - Vehicles With: Panoramic Roof Opening Panel.
- 3.NOTE: The header panel does not need repair after service.
On both sides. Carefully cut and discard the portion of the header panel as shown in illustration.
- 4.NOTE: All drive and return cable housings must be repositioned in the original positions during installation.
On both sides. Mark all cable housing tubes with clip/retainer locations and transfer to new cable housings for proper installation. Detach the cable housing tubes from the clip/retainers.
