Front Lifter Arm: Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE: The ribs on the shoe (see inset) must be on the bottom to slide properly in the frame channel.

NOTE: Air deflector may need to be held down in the closed position.

Air deflector removed for clarity.

  Assemble the front lifter arm.

  Install the front lifter arm.

Install the front cam.

NOTE: The lifter arms on both sides must be fully forward and down into the cam for proper timing of the drive cables.

On both sides. Using a rubber mallet, tap the front lifter arms into the cam drives.
