Front Parking Aid Sensor: Removal

    WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure in this service information, refer to Safety Warnings in GENERAL INFORMATION (HYBRID) . Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

All sensors 

  1. 2.

    Remove the front bumper cover. REFER to: Front Bumper Cover .

Outer front parking aid sensors 

  1. 3.

    Remove the outer front parking aid sensor.

    1. 1.

      Disconnect the outer front parking aid sensor electrical connector.

    1. 2.

      Release the tabs.

    1. 3.

      Remove the outer front parking aid sensor from the bracket.

Inner front parking aid sensors 

  1. 4.

    Remove the screws and position the front bumper cover reinforcement aside.

  1. 5.

    Remove the inner front parking aid sensor.

      Disconnect the inner front parking aid sensor electrical connector.

    1. 2.

      Release the tabs.

    1. 3.

      Remove the inner front parking aid sensor from the bracket.
