DTC: U0100-00, U0101-00, U0126-00, U0155-00 (2019 2020 2021)

DTC U0155-00  : CAN Communication Failure with Meter

DTC U0100-00  : CAN Communication Failure with ECM/ISU

DTC U0101-00  : CAN Communication Failure with PCM/TCM

DTC U0126-00  : CAN Communication Failure with Absolute Steering Wheel Angle Sensor

DTC U0155-00  : CAN Communication Failure with Meter

NOTE: 

• Before You Troubleshoot, Review The General Troubleshooting Information .
• According to the detected DTC(s), check for the power circuit and the ground circuit of the control unit which cannot communicate with the VSA modulator-control unit.

DTC (VSA)

1. DTC check

   -1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

   - 2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.

   - 3. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode, then start the engine.

   - 4. Test-drive the vehicle at 6 mph (10 km/h) or more.

   NOTE:  Drive the vehicle on the road, not on a lift.

   - 5. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

   DTC Description	DTC
   U0100-00 CAN Communication Failure with ECM/ISU
   U0101-00 CAN Communication Failure with PCM/TCM
   U0126-00 CAN Communication Failure with Absolute Steering Wheel Angle Sensor
   U0155-00 CAN Communication Failure with Meter

   Is DTC indicated?

   YES 

   Go to step 2.

   NO 

   Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Refer To Intermittent Failures Troubleshooting .

2. Open wire check (F-CAN A_H, F-CAN A_L lines)

   -1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

   - 2. Disconnect the following connector.

   VSA modulator-control unit 38P connector

   - 3. Disconnect the following connectors according to the detected DTC.

   DTC	Connector

   U0101-00	TCM 58P connector
   U0126-00	Steering angle sensor 4P connector
   U0155-00	Gauge control module connector A (32P)

   NOTE:  Before disconnecting the PCM connector, jump the SCS line with the HDS, and wait for more than 1 minute.

   - 4. Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.

   	Transmitting control unit connector(s) for indicated DTCs: disconnected

   Is there continuity?

   YES 

   The F-CAN A_H and the F-CAN A_L wires are OK. Check for any authorized service information related to the DTCs or symptoms you are troubleshooting. According to the detected DTC on the following table, substitute or replace the correspond control unit.

   Repair an open in the F-CAN A_H and/or the F-CAN A_L wire(s) between the receiving control unit and the transmitting control unit.
