DTC (PGM-FI)
- Problem verification
- 1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
- 2. Let the engine cool until the value of ECT SENSOR 1 is 77 °F (25 °C) or less.
Signal Current conditions Values Unit ECT SENSOR 1 - 3. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
- 4. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
- 5. Start the engine, and let it idle for 10 seconds or more.
- 6. Monitor the OBD STATUS for DTC P2B08, P2B09, P2B0A, P2B0B, P2B0C, P2B0D in the DTCs MENU with the HDS.
DTC Description OBD STATUS P2B08 No. 1 Cylinder Injector (Split injection control monitoring) P2B09 No. 2 Cylinder Injector (Split injection control monitoring) P2B0A No. 3 Cylinder Injector (Split injection control monitoring) P2B0B No. 4 Cylinder Injector (Split injection control monitoring) P2B0C No. 5 Cylinder Injector (Split injection control monitoring) P2B0D No. 6 Cylinder Injector (Split injection control monitoring) Does the HDS indicate FAILED?
YES
The failure is duplicated. Replace the PCM - Refer to: PCM Removal and Installation (9-Speed A/T) (2019 2020 2021), or PCM Removal and Installation (6-Speed A/T), ('16-'18 9-Speed A/T) .
NO
If the HDS indicates PASSED, intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.
If the on-board snapshot of this DTC is recorded, try to reproduce the failure under the same conditions with the on-board snapshot - Refer to: How to Troubleshoot the Fuel and Emissions Systems .
If the HDS indicates NOT COMPLETED, go to step 1-2 and recheck.
