MICU (2019 2020 2021)
NOTE:
- Before testing, check for DTCs. If any DTCs are indicated, troubleshoot those DTCs first.
- If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A - Refer to:
- Before testing, make sure the following fuses are OK. Refer to:
No. A26 - Fuse to Components Index (Without Auto Idle Stop System) (2019 2020 2021) .
No. C29*1 -Fuse to Components Index (Without Auto Idle Stop System) (2019 2020 2021) .
No. D4*2 -Fuse to Components Index (Without Auto Idle Stop System) (2019 2020 2021) .
*1: Without auto idle stop system
*2: With auto idle stop system
1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
2. Disconnect under-dash fuse/relay box connectors.
Under-dash fuse/relay box connector D (44P) (female terminals): (1)
Under-dash fuse/relay box connector E (38P) (female terminals): (2)
Under-dash fuse/relay box connector M (12P) (female terminals): (3)
Under-dash fuse/relay box connector P (24P) (female terminals): (4)
Under-dash fuse/relay box connector R (16P) (female terminals): (5)
3. Inspect the connectors and socket terminals to be sure they are all making good contact:
- If the terminals are bent, loose, or corroded, repair them as necessary, and recheck the system.
- If the terminals are OK, go to step 4.
4. With the connectors still disconnected, do the following input tests:
- If any test indicates a problem, find and correct the cause, then recheck the system.
- If all the input tests prove OK, go to step 5.
