Gauge Control Module Receives Information

The gauge control module receives information from each control unit via the F-CAN and the B-CAN to light or flash the indicators.

The washer fluid level switch, idle stop OFF switch*3, intelligent traction management switch*1, snow switch*2, cruise control combination switch, parking brake switch, ECON switch, VSA OFF switch, CMBS OFF switch, and brake fluid level switch connect directly to the gauge control module. The MICU creates turn signal inputs that connect directly to the turn signal indicators in the gauge control module. The steering commander switch assembly signal is transmitted to the gauge control module via the LIN.
