Mainshaft Bearing Removal

Special Tools Required

Driver Handle, 15 x 135L 07749-0010000
Bearing Driver Attachment, 78 x 80 mm 07NAD-PX40100

Remove the reverse idler gear (see REVERSE IDLER GEAR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
To remove the mainshaft bearing, expand the snap ring using snap ring pliers, then push the bearing out using the driver handle and the 78 x 80 mm bearing driver attachment. Do not remove the snap ring unless it is necessary to clean the groove in the transmission housing.
