D3 Switch Test

- Remove these parts:
- Center middle panel (see INSTRUMENT VISOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
- Passenger's middle panel (see PASSENGER'S MIDDLE PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
- Multi-purpose hook (see MULTI-PURPOSE HOOK REPLACEMENT )
- Center lower console (see RADIO POCKET REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
- Disconnect the D3 switch connector (A).
- Check for continuity between D3 switch connector terminals No. 1 and No. 2. There should be continuity while pressing the D3 button and no continuity when the D3 button is released.
- If the D3 switch tests OK, connect the connector, and install all removed parts.
- If the D3 switch tests bad, replace the D3 switch (see D3 SWITCH REPLACEMENT ).
