Driver's Dashboard Lower Cover Removal/Installation
Special Tools Required
KTC Trim Tool Set SOJATP2014*

NOTE:
- Take care not to scratch the dashboard or the related parts.
- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.
- Adjust the steering column upward.
- Open the front door, and remove the driver's dashboard side panel (A).
- Pull out the front door opening seal (B), as needed (see step 4 under FRONT DOOR SILL AREA ).
- Gently pry the front edge of the side panel with a trim tools to release the hooks (C), then remove the side panel.
- Remove the left side of the driver's center panel (see step 1 under Dashboard Center Panel Removal/Installation ).
- Remove the driver's dashboard lower cover (A).
- Remove the screw.
- Pull out the bottom of the driver's dashboard lower cover to release the clips.
- Disconnect the switch connectors (B).
- VSA OFF switch connector
- Parking and back-up switch connector (for some models)
- Install the cover in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- Make sure that the electrical connector and the air hose to the humidity/in-car temperature sensor are properly connected.
- If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
- Push the clips into place securely.
