Tailgate Hinge Cover Replacement

Special Tools Required

KTC Trim Tool Set SOJATP2014*

*Available through the Honda Tool and Equipment Program, 888-424-6857

NOTE:

Take care not to scratch the tailgate hinge cover or the body.
Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.

If equipped, remove the roof rail (see ROOF RAIL REPLACEMENT ).
Release the inside hook (A) from the tailgate hinge (B) by pulling the rear of the tailgate hinge cover (C) up, then remove the tailgate hinge cover.

Install the cover in the reverse order of removal.
