Center Pocket Removal/Installation

Special Tools Required 

KTC Trim Tool Set SOJATP2014*

*Available through the Honda Tool and Equipment Program, 888-424-6857

NOTE:
  • Take care not to scratch the dashboard and its related parts.
  • Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.
  1. Remove the center panels (see DASHBOARD CENTER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION  ).
  2. Remove the center pocket (A).
    1. Remove the screws (B) and release the clips (C, D).
    2. Disconnect the center pocket light bulb socket (E) (without navigation) and the seat heater switch connectors (F) (for some models).
    3. Disconnect the navigation control panel connectors (G) (with navigation).

      Without navigation

      With navigation

      Switch panel removal 

  3. With navigation: If necessary, remove the screws, then separate the center pocket (A) from the brackets (B) and the navigation switch panel (C).

  4. Install the center pocket in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
    • If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
    • Push the clips into place securely.
    • Make sure the connectors and bulb socket are plugged in properly.
