Side Impact Sensor (First) Replacement: Installation
- Install the side impact sensor (first) (A) with a new TORX bolt (B), using a TORX T30 bit. Connect the side impact sensor (first) 4P connector (C).

- Do the 12 volt battery terminal reconnection procedure (see
12 VOLT BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION AND RECONNECTION
).
- Clear any DTCs with the HDS (see HOW TO CLEAR DTCS
).
- Confirm proper SRS operation: Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), and check that the SRS indicator comes on for about 6 seconds and then goes off.
- Reinstall all removed parts.
