Measure the clearance between the shift arm (A) and the shift piece (B) with a feeler gauge (C). If the clearance exceeds the service limit, go to step 2.
Standard: 0.206-0.616 mm

(0.00811-0.02425 in)

Service Limit: 0.7 mm (0.028 in)

Measure the width of the shift piece.
- If the width is not within the standard, replace the shift piece.
- If the width is within the standard, replace the shift arm.
  Standard: 16.00-16.20 mm (0.6299-0.6378 in)
