Rear Bumper Lower Trim Replacement

NOTE:
  • Put on gloves to protect your hands.
  • Take care not to scratch the rear bumper or the related parts.
  • When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape to prevent damage.
  1. Remove the rear bumper (see REAR BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION  ).
  2. Remove the clips and detach the hooks (A), then remove the rear bumper lower trim (B) from the rear bumper (C).

  3. If necessary, remove the screw and detach the hook (A), then remove the rear bumper diffuser (B) from the rear bumper lower trim (C).

  4. Install the rear bumper lower trim in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
    • If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
    • Push the clips and the hooks into place securely.
