Driver's Door
- Remove the driver's door panel (see
DOOR PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
).
- Disconnect the 10P connector (A) from the door latch (B).

- Check for continuity between the terminals.
- There should be continuity between terminals No. 9 and No. 10 when the door lock knob switch is in the LOCK position, and no continuity when the switch is in the UNLOCK position.
- There should be continuity between terminals No. 8 and No. 10 when the door lock knob switch is in the UNLOCK position, and no continuity when the switch is in the LOCK position.
- Check for continuity between terminals No. 9 and No. 8 of door lock knob switch. There should be no continuity in either the LOCK or UNLOCK positions.
- If the continuity is not as specified, replace the driver's door latch (see
DOOR LATCH REPLACEMENT
).
