Windshield Wiper Motor Replacement: Removal

NOTE: Be careful not to scratch or damage the hood and the body.
  1. Remove the windshield wiper arms (see WIPER ARM REPLACEMENT  ).
  2. Remove the under-cowl panel and the hood hinge cover (see COWL COVER REPLACEMENT ).
  3. Disconnect the 5P connector (A), and remove the cover (B) from the windshield wiper motor (C).

  4. Remove the four bolts and the wiper linkage assembly (D).
  5. Mark lines (A) to show the original adjustment, then remove the connection rod (B) from the linkage (C).

  6. Remove the nut, and separate the linkage from the windshield wiper motor (D).
  7. Remove the three bolts, and separate the windshield wiper motor from the linkage assembly (E) through the hole.
