Park Pin Switch Test
- Remove the center console (see
CENTER CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
).
- Disconnect the park pin switch 2P connector (A).

- Check for continuity between connector terminals No. 1 and No. 2.
- There should be continuity when the shift lever is moved out of P.
- There should be no continuity when the shift lever is moved to P.
- If the continuity is not as specified, replace the park pin switch (see
SHIFT LOCK RELEASE/RELEASE SPRING REPLACEMENT
).
