Water Passage Replacement
- Do the battery removal procedure (see BATTERY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
).
- Drain the engine coolant (see COOLANT REPLACEMENT ).
- Disconnect the upper radiator hose (A) and the lower radiator hose (B).

- Disconnect ECT sensor 1 connector (C) and the EGR valve connector (D).
- Remove the EGR valve.

- Remove the ECT sensor.

- Remove the harness holder mounting bolt (A), then remove the wire harness (B) from the harness holder.

- Disconnect the water bypass hoses (A) and the heater hoses (B).

- Remove the EGR pipe.

- Remove the water passage (A) and the connecting pipe (B).

- Install the water passage in the reverse order of removal.
- Do the battery installation procedure (see BATTERY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
).
- Refill the radiator with engine coolant, and bleed the air from the cooling system (see COOLANT REPLACEMENT ).
- Clean up any spilled engine coolant.
