Minor Adjustment

  1. Raise and support the vehicle (see LIFT AND SUPPORT POINTS ).
  2. Release the parking brake pedal fully.
  3. Press the parking brake pedal 1 click.
  4. Remove the adjusting nut cap (A).

  5. Tighten the parking brake adjusting nut (B) until the parking brakes drag slightly when the rear wheels are turned.
  6. Release the parking brake pedal fully, and check that the parking brakes do not drag when the rear wheels are turned. Readjust if necessary.
  7. Make sure the parking brake pedal is within the specified number of clicks (10 to 12 clicks).
