D4 Switch Test

Remove these parts:
- Center middle panel (see INSTRUMENT VISOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
- Passenger's middle panel (see PASSENGER'S MIDDLE PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
- Multi-purpose hook (see MULTI-PURPOSE HOOK REPLACEMENT )
- Center lower console (see RADIO POCKET REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
Disconnect the D4 switch connector (A).

Check for continuity between D4 switch connector terminals No. 1 and No. 2. There should be continuity while pressing the D4 button and no continuity when the D4 button is released.
- If the D4 switch tests OK, connect the connector, and install all removed parts.
- If the D4 switch tests faulty, replace the D4 switch (see D4 SWITCH REPLACEMENT ).
