Yaw Rate Sensor: Service and Repair




Yaw Rate-Lateral/Longitudinal Acceleration Sensor Replacement

NOTE:

- Do not damage or drop the sensor as it is sensitive.
- Do not use power tools.

1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).

2. Remove the driver's center console trim.

3. Remove the yaw rate-lateral/longitudinal acceleration sensor (A) mounting bolts.





4. Disconnect the yaw rate-lateral/longitudinal acceleration sensor 5P connector (B).

5. Install the yaw rate-lateral/longitudinal acceleration sensor in the reverse order of removal.

6. Do the VSA sensor neutral position memorization Programming and Relearning.
