Power Lumbar Support Motor Test

NOTE: SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations Locations, and precautions and procedures Service and Repair before doing repairs or servicing.

1. Remove the driver's seat Front Seat Removal/Installation (USA/Canada).

2. Disconnect the 8P connector (A) from the driver's seat wire harness.






3. Test the motor by applying battery power and ground to the terminals.





4. If the motor does not run or fails to run smoothly, check for an open or high resistance in the wire between the 8P connector and the lumbar support motor. If the harness is OK, replace the lumbar support motor Front Seat Lumbar Support Replacement.
