Rear Entertainment System Symptom Troubleshooting - Display does not go off when screen is closed

Display does not go off when screen is closed

1. With the ignition switch to ON (II) and screen open, push the rear power switch ON. Then close the screen by pivoting it up.

Does the screen go off?

YES -

Operation is normal at this time.�

NO -

Go to step 2.

2. Check the lock switch.

Does the screen close securely?

YES -

If the screen securely closes and the screen does not go off, replace the rear controller and screen Service and Repair.�

NO -

Relock the screen, and recheck. If the screen does not securely lock into position, replace the rear controller and screen Service and Repair.�
