VSA DTC Troubleshooting: 25-21, 25-23

DTC 25-21:

Yaw Rate Sensor Neutral Position Malfunction

DTC 25-23:

Yaw Rate Sensor Circuit Intermittent Interruption

1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).

2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.

3. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) and then back to ON (II).

4. Wait for 60 seconds or more.

5. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Is DTC 25-21 or 25-23 indicated?

YES -

Replace the yaw rate-lateral acceleration sensor Service and Repair.�

NO -

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.�
