Transmission End Crankshaft Oil Seal Installation - In Car

Special Tools Required
^ Handle Driver 07749-0010000
^ Oil seal driver attachment 96 07ZAD-PNAA100

1. Clean and dry the crankshaft oil seal housing.
2. Apply a light coat of multipurpose grease to the crankshaft and to the lip of the seal.
3. Use the handle driver and oil seal driver attachment to drive a new oil seal squarely into the engine block to the specified installed height.





4. Measure the distance between the engine block (A) and crankshaft oil seal (B).
