DTC 66

DTC 66: VSA Pressure Sensor (Inside of VSA Modulator-control Unit)

1. Clear the DTC using the HDS.
2. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
3. Remove the HDS from the 16P DTC.
4. Test-drive the vehicle.
Does the ABS indicator come on, and is DTC 25, 26, 27, or 64 indicated?
YES - Do the appropriate troubleshooting for the DTC.
NO - Go to step 5.

5. Do the VSA sensor neutral position memorization. Programming and Relearning
6. Clear the DTC using the HDS.
7. Disconnect the HDS from the 16P DLC.
8. Turn the ignition switch OFF, then turn it ON (II).
9. Test-drive the vehicle.
Does the ABS indicator come on, and is DTC 66 indicated?
YES - Check for loose terminals in the VSA modulator-control unit 47P connector. If necessary, substitute a known-good VSA modulator-control unit, and recheck.
NO - Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.
