Antenna Amplifier: Service and Repair

AM/FM Antenna Lead/Amplifier Replacement

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations.
Also review the precautions and procedures in the SRS section before doing repairs or service.

1. Remove the headliner.
2. Remove the AM/FM antenna.




3. Disconnect AM/FM antenna lead/amplifier 3P connector (A) and detach the clips (B), then remove the AM/FM antenna lead/amplifier (C).

NOTE: The AM/FM antenna lead and washer tube are joined together with adhesive tape.

4. Install the AM/FM antenna lead/amplifier in the reverse order of removal.
