EX-L Touring model

Remove the driver's airbag assembly (see DRIVER'S AIRBAG REPLACEMENT ).
Remove the cover (A), two screws and the select/reset/information switch (B), then disconnect the 8P connector (C) from the switch.

Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table shown in Fig 2.

If the check is not as specified, replace the switch. If the switch is OK, but the system does not operate, check for an open in the wire between the switch and the cable reel.
