New Seat Belt Reminder Logic for '06 Models

NOTE:
This article applies to '06 Accords, '06 Civics, 06 Pilots, and 06 S2000s. Some '06 model Hondas come with new seat belt reminder logic that turns on the seat belt reminder light in the instrument panel if the front passenger isn't buckled up. While driving, if the OPDS detects there's someone in the front passenger's seat and the seat belt isn't buckled, the seat belt reminder light comes on and intermittently blinks.
