Drive Belt Tensioner: Service and Repair

Drive Belt Auto-tensioner Removal/Installation




1. Loosen the water pump pulley mounting bolts.
2. Remove the drive belt.
3. Remove the alternator.




4. Remove the water pump pulley.




5. Remove the drive belt auto-tensioner.
6. Install the drive belt auto-tensioner in the reverse order of removal.
