DTC B1163: Gauge Control Module Lost Communication with Left Power Sliding Door Control Unit (PSDL Message)
NOTE:
If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A (see TROUBLESHOOTING - B-CAN SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS TEST MODE A
).
- Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
- Turn the ignition switch OFF, and then back ON (II).
- Wait for 6 seconds or more.
- Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC B1163 indicated?
- YES - Go to gauge control module input test (see GAUGE CONTROL MODULE INPUT TEST ).
- NO - Intermittent failure. The gauge control system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections.
