Creep Aid Solenoid Valve (With CVT)

NOTE: Before replacing the creep aid solenoid valves, refer to the CVT for troubleshooting. See appropriate DIAGNOSIS article in TRANSAXLE/TRANSMISSION.
  1. Disconnect the creep aid solenoid valves 4-pin connector. See Fig 1.
  2. Disconnect the brake lines from the creep aid solenoid valves.
  3. Remove the creep aid solenoid valves/bracket from the body.
  4. Separate the solenoid valves and bracket.
  5. Install the creep aid solenoid valves in the reverse order of removal.
  6. Fill the master cylinder reservoir with new brake fluid. Bleed brake system. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM .
  7. Check the brake line joints for leaks, and tighten if necessary. Check the creep aid for proper operation during a test drive.
