Rear Brake Drum

Raise and support vehicle. Remove rear wheels. Install two 8 x 1.25 x 12-mm bolts in existing holes. To prevent warpage, alternately turn bolts 2 turns at a time until drum can be removed from hub. Check the brake drum for scoring, grooves, corrosion, and cracks. Measure the inside diameter of the brake drum with inside vernier calipers. If the inside diameter of the brake drum is more than the service limit replace the brake drum. See DRUM BRAKE SPECIFICATIONS .
