Major Adjustment (Odyssey)

NOTE: To be done when replacing brake shoes and after lining surface break-in.

Release parking brake, and back off adjusting nut. See Figure . Remove access plug. See Figure . Turn up ratchet teeth or adjuster assembly with a flat blade screwdriver until shoes lock against drum. Then back off 10 clicks, and install access plug. Do minor adjustment procedure. See MINOR ADJUSTMENT (ODYSSEY)  .
