Input Shaft (Mainshaft) Speed Sensor Replacement

  1. Disconnect the input shaft (mainshaft) speed sensor connector.
  2. Remove the bolt securing the input shaft (mainshaft) speed sensor, then remove the input shaft (mainshaft) speed sensor (A) from the end cover.

  3. Install the new O-ring (B) on the input shaft (mainshaft) speed sensor, then install the input shaft (mainshaft) speed sensor in the end cover. Do not allow dust or foreign particles to enter the transmission.
  4. Check the connector for rust, dirt, or oil, then connect the connector securely.
