Removal & Installation (Odyssey - Arm "B")
- Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel assembly. Position hydraulic jack under connecting point of lower arm to knuckle and compress lower control arm upward. Remove ABS wheel sensor. DO NOT disconnect sensor connector. Remove lower mounting bolt from control arm. Slowly lower hydraulic jack until coil spring is expanded. Remove coil spring and spring seats. Remove upper mounting bolt and self-locking nut. Remove control arm. See Figure.
- To install, lower rear suspension and loosely install lower control arm, upper mounting bolt and self-locking nut. Install coil spring and spring seats, ensuring proper alignment of coil spring seats in lower control arm. Position hydraulic jack under connecting point of lower arm to knuckle. Using hydraulic jack, raise lower control arm until bolt hole aligns with knuckle. Loosely install lower mounting bolt. Raise rear suspension until vehicle just lifts off stands. Tighten upper and lower mounting bolts and self-locking nut to specifications. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Install ABS wheel sensor. Check rear wheel alignment and adjust as necessary.
